What to include in your message

A little detail up front means we can answer in one reply instead of three. Depending on why you are writing, please include:

  • Planning questions: the type of event, roughly how many guests, the date or season, your country or city (prices and rules vary a lot) and, if it matters, the budget range you are working with.
  • Planning kits and orders: your order number, the email address used at checkout and the name of the kit or download.
  • Creatives and videos: your brand, where the content will run (Reels, TikTok, ads), your deadline and two or three examples of the style you like.
  • Corrections: the article title or link, what is wrong or out of date, and where the correct information comes from.
  • Partnerships and topic ideas: who you are, what you have in mind and your timeline. Put “Partnership” in the subject line.

Common questions

Can you answer a question about my own event?

Yes, short planning questions are welcome, and they often become new guides. We cannot review a contract or check a supplier’s quote line by line, or give legal or financial advice, but we will point you to the guide that fits, such as our 12 supplier contract clauses to check before signing or how to read a venue quote.

Do you accept paid articles or sponsored reviews?

No. Guides are written independently. If a page ever contains an affiliate link or a sponsored mention, it is clearly labelled, as explained in our disclaimer.

Can I republish one of your articles?

Please do not copy articles in full. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back to the original page.

How are your guides researched?

They draw on supplier terms and documentation, published pricing, industry guidance and the questions readers send us. Prices change by country and season, so always confirm figures with your own suppliers.

What happens to my email address?

We use it only to reply to you and, for a correction, to update the article. We do not add you to a mailing list or share your details. See our privacy policy for the full details.

How we handle corrections

  1. We read every correction and check it against the source you give, or an independent source if none is given.
  2. If the article is wrong or out of date, we update it and change the “updated” date on the page.
  3. If we disagree, we reply to explain why, with the source we relied on.

Simple factual fixes are usually made within a week. Bigger updates, such as a guide whose prices have shifted across a whole region, take longer because every figure needs re-checking.

Before you write
